I can't build like J but I have been building stuff

How long have you had that $8 model kit? Those go for $25 and up now.
I know! I bought it a long time ago. I've been trying to figure out how to make the coupe roof and Eleanor body mods. Then I found both as resin bodies. So I finally can get started! I also bought a 70 Torino kit for the 429!

Those look real nice. Look forward to build pictures. After my ticker is worked on, I plan on making a couple car part lamps. Going to make a special one for next years WE.

I'm going to attempt to replicate my 67

I think you found the same resin 67 coupe kit I did years ago. Unfortunately it has some non-scale sized molding in places but I am going to use the same scale plastic fastback and bash it like you are doing to make the model....sometime in the future.....you know, when the car is done....lol
I see you got some scale etched metal parts too. I found a set also for the 67 fastback that has all the emblems, trim, etc. Even has a set of keys with a key ring!
Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Nice work on those cars Craig. Some of them look like dealer promo cars?

When looking for a truck for my next project I fell in love with a few of those COE guys made into street rides. If I had the space to store one I'd be all over building one to act as a flatbed car hauler like the old drag teams. Maybe I need to adopt your path and build one in miniature. Be a whole lot cheaper!

Was that truck a model kit as well?
no, it was a resin cab I got on eBay and I used a Dodge L700 model kit for the chassis.

nope, all models. The 57 T-Bird is an old AMT my dad built but all the rest I built.

yes! I build a lot of my dream cars in miniature!

here are some pcs of the cars and truck individually.
The retractable hard top is made from three kits. Two AMT 57's and a Revell 59. The 57 Ranchero was a Revell kit I built as a kid and rebuilt recently. B4 and after.jpg 57 Ranchero 3.jpg 57 T-Bird Blue.jpg IMG_4300.jpg 28577818_10211520857922665_6298539235116493711_n.jpg

the other truck (International) was an old kit but had not been built. The Torino is a Starsky and Hutch model, the Pinto was hard to get, been discontinued for a while and the Mustang II is also discontinued but they are out there47575241_10213352771719365_3886523843249963008_n.jpg Ole Blue.jpg 46501936_10213244224565754_4963991899271593984_n.jpg Paint.jpg
