Just looked in the gallery. Got this

Plz fix before Mark calls me a damned liar......again.

Well since the gallery is locked down, I'll add them as attachments and see if that works.

Nice vert. I have an air cleaner sitting up in my garage attic if you decide to replace the one on the car. It came off of a 66 fairlane or galaxy.

Cool. I'm gonna clean up the one on there now, but if it still looks like crap, I'll give you a shout.

I see a lot of elbow grease in your future. :D Nice looking vert.

It's been sitting for over 10 years or so. It ran when parked, but hasn't been cranked in years. The body is in pretty good shape, and the paint isn't faded. It's been under a carport and cover during it's retirement. The underside has the usual surface rust, but no rot I can find. The engine bay needs a major cleaning, gas tank replaced or cleaned, brakes overhauled, and the AC compressor rebuild or replaced. Of course belts, hoses, and bushings will need to be replaced. Mostly just neglected maintenance stuff really. The top was replaced before it was parked, and is still in excellent shape.

That would be a really fun occasional driver . . . clean it up and you could enter it in unrestored or survivor class at a car show. Congrats on the new ride !!

I wouldn't consider it a survivor. The entire front clip was replaced from a donor car, and has a different vin up front. It's been rear ended, front ended, and somehow my wife's grandmother managed to get it wedged between two trees. But it's got family history.
It was delivered to a Ford dealership in Louisville, ky that was owned by my wife's uncle. It was then used in the 1967 Kentucky derby parade to show off the winning jockey. It was then sold to my wife's grandmother, who drove it very little, then had to park it when she no longer could drive. There is sat for a few years, until my father in law came back from Vietnam. My wife was brought home from the hospital in this car when she was born. It was parked again for a while, until my wife started driving. She drove it some in high school and college, before parking it again. There is sat until yesterday.

More odd history. It was used for some hoorahdang at FedEx and paraded a bunch of high up managers around.
One of those managers was Charlotte Bergmann, who happens to be the 2014 republican candidate for TN district 9(my wife is the one in camo in the middle, Bergmann is left of her)
