Important news about StangFix

Most of you probably know by now that I have sold my Mustang and plan to take a break from the car scene.

I have been looking around for someone to take over for me and I have found him. His name is Emilio (Wildstangs). I chose him because he has extensive forum experience, awesome graphical skilz and is a Mustang nut through and through. I'll let him lay out his credentials and what he has in store for the board.

I'll still hang around a bit and there's a real good chance I'll jump on the 1st 15 that gets traded in at work. I'm not over Mustangs quite yet, but I do need a break.

Please welcome him and make him feel at home.

I'd like to thank you all for making this place a great place to hang out. I've made some awesome friends here.

I will second that! Randy, when an opportunity presented itself, you took the ball and ran with it. Thanks for all your time and effort and like you, we all find ourselves in the doldrums and need a break from most everything. This place has been a great place to meet new friends and keep up with the old ones. The best part of this forum has held true from the beginning. It's always been loose and relaxed. Thanks again and good luck Emilio! We're all behind you!

Hello everyone, Glad to be part of Stangfix.com. I will be doing some change in the next few days. Like moving site over to my sever and then I will be upgrading our software to the latest and greatest. Make sure to get your inputs in on stuff you would like to see changed or added. What I like to do is to bring more traffic and try and make it better place for everyone.

Emilio, that's an old inside joke. Once upon a time there was a cat that would reroute his domain and pull other shenanigans on April Fools day. Worry not, no one here would partake in any April Fools pranks. :whis

You'll be on the inside of such things as Mt. Fiji, :grea , :shee , :wop , :wp and last but certainly not least :mark before you know it.

Emilio, the only input I have is out of the many forums I am a part of VMF and sites like them with all the dang adds drive me crazy!

I use an older box and the flash crap drives it nuts!

Anything that slows it down like loading a crap ton of adds is pretty annoying.

I would rather pay a membership than deal with adds.

Sluggo... Sure want to second all the nice comments. This forum is really the only one I frequent. I have made so many friends here and personally met most of them. In fact i would say I'm closer to some these guys than some of my own blood relatives.

I guess that I worry about the little things, and one of those would be pictures. I see that you used the "Attachments and other options" to host the pics of your Mustangs. When we had our last move many pics were lost or ended up in cyberspace somewhere. I am hoping that can be avoided this time. In my opinion pictures are very important to this site, whether it is a pic of :mark in the kitchen making sandwiches or the part that Craig fabricated for Bruno. Oh and the little things that I worry about... I like our emoticons, they do not disappear, just the code gets changed and looking at an old post you see :ears
